Why? I asked a question about the regular American posters here, and
then pointed out this public newsgroup where posters here where can
bitch and complain as to what NASA is doing or going to do, but that's
it.

Warrington, in England. And as for public criticism, all comments
here are somewhat moot or judgmental but essentially ineffective as to
what NASA is actually going to do.

Has NASA ever bowed to the public will? The only example that I know
of was the naming of the very first shuttle orbiter 'Enterprise' from
the ship in the all American space based soap opera.
