If you take precautions when handling something potentially
harmful, that's common sense. When you don't use something at all
because of what MAY happen, that's fear. ;-)

And another good and sensible argument for using peroxide is that
it can be used as a monopropellant for your RCS... as was (IIRC)
tested for use in the X-15 vehicles in the 60s.
