However, what you need might just be a good oxidizer, and not
necessarily oxygen. If that's the case, there are good arguments to be
made in favor of hydrogen peroxide.
If you're talking life support, the requirements are rather broader than
just oxygen. I've seen two recent posts suggesting how hydrogen
peroxide can be used to good effect.
