I agree. Not only do we get to explore our own planet, we get to know
each other. We disagree so much and tend to exhibit anti-social
behaviors to even our friends and relatives, that it appears we all
need a few courses on social psychology and social behaviors.

In the US we have a constitution that indicates 'pursuit of happiness'
and we as citizens are quick to forget that founding principle.

It would be in our best interests to learn the self in others before we
decide to go into space. The results of visiting Mars or even living on
other planets would be to our detriment if we try to colonize space
without understanding ourselves first.
