Re: NASA's New Mars Orbiter Returns Test Images

Taken from the HiRISE Operations Team Website,

The HiRISE camera successfully took a second set of Mars images on
Saturday morning, March 25, designed to test spacecraft "jitter," or
the effects of moving parts in other MRO instruments on HiRISE images.
The tests were successful. These second four images are also
remarkable, and may be released at a later date.

Let me just add that the purpose of these last images was for testing
purposes. They have a few spots on them of "Jitter", due to fluxuations
of the spacecraft. Still, they are quite remarkable.
