He has done much more with NASA and space exploration than any
president since Kennedy, and probably more. What more do you expect
him to be doing? He brought in a new administrator to take care of
that.
A better conclusion would seem to be that Kennedy seemed distracted by
"winning" the space race with the Russians and that space exploration really
isn't that important of a priority for the nation.
