been more than just a hickey. The entry hole was only 1/10inch, but
behind that was a pulverized area 1 inch in diameter and half an inch
deep.

It's not clear how that would translate to the various parts of an EMU,
but it looks to me like it has the potential to be quite serious.
However, this is nothing new. It has always been known that MMOD was a
significant risk to spacecraft and spacewalkers.
