No, only that in this specific example the economics don't appear to add

I by no means think so highly of myself or my abilities that I would even
try.

I can only say that of all the things I've heard from others who are
presumably experts, I've yet to hear anything which sounded nearly as
plausible as what O'Neill proposed.

One problem with economic activities at greater distances from Earth is that
would put them further away from the only customer in existence at the
start. I think the breakthrough will have to involve thousands of people,
but (at the start) probably not beyond cislunar space.
