Pat Flannery "I didn't say anything about military action, just show

Yes. that's just what I wrote, isn't it?
Interesting pat you don't want to hear about a possible solution to
stop the atrocities in western Sudan, as water and grazing rights are
common issues to western U.S. states, a similarity we share with many
people who reside in arid regions of the world, but instead you would
rather make a comment about what would happen to me if I were in
Darfur, ( now does that same example and logic apply to you pat?)
No, Because I don't want to go anywhere near the place, and hope the US
won't go anywhere near there either.
It was suggested that NATO should send troops down there to fix things
up... that was the best laugh NATO had in years.
Perhaps you yourself would like to propose a solution pat for how to
stop atrocities in Darfur pat, as in your own words "it's time to put
your mortal life where your mouth is". So pat here is some
information on the government of Sudan's (GOS) actions of atrocity in
the Darfur region. The following information shows the conflict can
be summarized as the state department did describing the conflict as
"Arabs or (GOS and militia forces) vs. non-Arab villagers belonging
primarily to the Zaghawa, Massilit, and Fur ethnic groups."
"Fur"! This is a job for PETA! And possibly an ELF commando squad.
They can show up with signs reading "People Are Animals Too!", and start
throwing fake blood on the contending groups.
Seriously, NATO realized that the solution to this problem has to come
from inside Africa, and not be imposed on it from outside in classical
"White Man's Burden" style.
Pat
Well pat I don't think you should suggest somebody should do something
that you are not willing to do yourself, so if you suggest I should go
to Darfur, then you should go as well and stick your head in the
fighting. (as I care for my well being, as much as you do yours).
Now the oil revenues sharing and infrastructure improvements were part
of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement or a diplomatic solution that
deals with the economic the issues between the north and south of
Sudan, so therefore maybe another diplomatic solution that deals with
the Darfurs water and grazing rights may stop the atrocities, and
improve the regions instability.
Now as to your suggestion, if for some slim reason the president were
to request my presence to assist in a diplomatic solution for the
Darfur region, then yes pat I would go in a heartbeat, using the
Comprehensive Peace Agreement as a model, as I believe we would have a
chance to stop the atrocities and genocide.
So what do you think of my suggestion pat? Why don't you try
yourself, just do a little research, you can do it, and you can even
use the sources I provided.
