That hadn't occurred to me.

No reason it would--it has nothing to with JFK, with which conspiracy
theories about whom Eric is obsessed. The origin of the phrase is
from Watergate.

Who among the Watergate venture was twisting in the wind, Rand? Nixon?
No one died related to Watergate. Surely, Bonde, whether he wants to
admit it or not, is referring to a Bay of Pigs-like scenario, whether
he was referring to the BOP operation itself or not.

And my obsession, as you put it, with JFK conspiracies is clearly a
bellwether event that you seem to condone, where others of us question
them as is our right as Americans.
