Exactly! A grand purpose is worth the effort. The larger and more
ambitious the goal, the greater chance for success. Provided every
aspect of the goal stretches, but doesn't break, the realm of
possibility. And can be accomplished within a couple of
political cycles.

Well this particular problem will have to be sorted out in a single two term presidential cycle because we are already at the point of no return right now. We need a suite of all liquid shuttle replacements by 2010 and we need an all liquid space colonization demonstrator by 2016, so we can be ready to go immediately after DAWN. I can't believe those idiots will have wasted four full years on this ***. We've got to finesse it :
