This one is all PR and was probably all from the NASA end. His career
isn't gone. Just his astronaut job. NETWARCOM isn't exactly where
the Navy would send someone they were going to force out.

Watch the Captains list a couple years from now and that will tell you
if his career is really gone or not.

Predicting Billy boy was going to leave the strow office is about as
brilliant a prediction as saying "the sun is coming up in the
morning".

Wow.

His career in the USN is toast. He has been effectivly "releaved for
cause" and thats the end of a career particularly in Mr. Gates
military.

You have probably missed it along the way, but on Thursday and Friday
Mr. Gates does "chop city" of various commands. He is the most
aggressive SecDef in terms of "reliefs for cause" since well the late
40's.

Billy Boy is done. He will be lucky if he escapes UCMJ action...NCIS
is as we speak gathering a case against him.
