I will be glad to find
the details on the funding trail, (for this thread, and just to have
the real history for future model project notes). I just want to be as
spot on, as one can be. I have a group of Kids that look up to Me for
space history. I do not want to give them the wrong information
either.

Several STS missions are dubbed "DOD". Surely the DOD funds those.
