That's probably true, but the specific claim was that the technology had
been patented. If that's not the case, then it must cast doubt on the
veracity of the rest of the information (as if one needed any more doubt).

How far outside the regular laws of physics and otherwise having been
allowed to exclude the best available science is your faith-basted
