I don't entirely agree that fusion is a "dead end

I don't state it's a dead-end just since fusion needs "to-day
(everyday) + 50 years to work" but because we need the energy NOW, not
in 2030, 2050 or 2080... so, IF and WHEN the fusion will (finally)
work (someday) we MUST ALREADY HAVE thousands renevable energy power
plants, since, if we won't have them when the fission works (in 2050)
our economy (and, maybe, our world) will be DEAD by decades!

that's why I think we lose time and money investing in the fusion
instead of use that money to build (NOW) many new wind, solar and
geothermal plants

I 100+% agree. So when do we contact Warren Buffet?

As you and I've said this many times, that the renewable alternatives
are at least technically here and functioning as is, therefore no or
at least very little R&D need be applied, just more installations and
the bigger the better.

To start with, I propose eliminating all import duty or whatever tax
on such technology, including whatever local sales or excise relates
tax for those of us (including Warren Buffet) putting such technology
obtained clean energy onto the grid, or at least into producing
essential products such as aluminum and basalt composites, as well as
into whatever liquid fuels, such as LH2 and h2o2. I'd even eliminate
any local property tax, including the tower footprint worth of real
estate property tax.
