I doubt subterranean luna would be as cold as the floors of polar craters. Ices would sublimate.

Lava tubes may have less dust than much of Luna's surface. That might make them attractive as moon dust is nasty stuff.

Do you see amphibians when you explore caves? Is that why you call yourself "Frogwatch"?

I have a special love for frogs and toads. My nickname used to be Toad and Hop sort of evolved from that.
