I think you mean "...*if* the Google Lunar X-Prize is won..."
It'll be won. It's pretty much just combining off-the-shelf technology,
considerably easier (technically) than the original X-Prize. More
expensive to enter, due to the launch costs, but still -- somebody will
do it. I'd bet real money on it if I could find it in a legitimate
futures market...
