The earth has a negative charge. If you make a light aluminum ship
negative or more negative than the earth wouldn't it be repelled away
from earth? An anti-gravity ship?
It would be repelled, but the static charge force isn't very strong, so I
don't think you're going to be able to create a practical "anti-gravity"
ship this way.
