True, but don't bitch, just fix it! Make it easy for Wikipedia readers to
find the real sources. Adding references to Wikipedia articles is easy.
NASA helps here by putting lots of technical reports and other reputable
references on the web. For example, see the Wikipedia page on 'Deep Space Network'.
It's superficial by itself, but it points to a rather complete and authoritative
DSN history from JPL (in .pdf format).
