Rudi Giuliani and Mitt Romney Discuss the Space Program

About a week before the Florida primary both Rudi Giuliani and Mitt
Romney attended separate space policy round tables at the Kennedy
Space Center in Florida. The round tables were sponsored by the
Economic Development Commission of Florida's Space Coast and were
attended by a number of aerospace leaders. Giuliani emerged from his
meeting vowing to enhance American leadership in space and to narrow
or close the five year "space flight gap" between the 2010 retirement
of the shuttle and the first flights of the Orion/Ares launch vehicle.
Romney was somewhat noncommittal after his meeting, promising to study
the problem, while expressing support for the Vision for Space
Exploration.
