No, I a merely someone who knows how to employ logic, and comprehend
the English language.  To a loon like you, demonstrably incapable of
doing such things, that may look like a "skilful psi ops lobbyist."

No, you do not employ logic. There is no logic for example for an
expanded program of manned space flight. Robots (and the technology is
advancing fast) can do everything Man can do and more. The only
argument that stands any sort of scruitiny is that the ISS should be
maintained for basically political reasons and that a controlled crash
would be expensive to orchastrate.

Fundamentally I think everyone realizes thios. I have not seen any
arguments for manned space flight advanced that did not rely on slur
and innendo.

In the thread it was patently obvious that what I wanted to do was to
get to the truth about the Antrax attacks. Do they tell us anything
about existential risk. I think too that it is obvious.

1) That the US military is claiming a right to do dangerous work
without the supervision of an ethics committee or aything else. This
MUST put up existential risk for the rest of humanity.

2) Space colonies which was my original topic will NOT protect us
against man made risks and could well make these risks worse. In any
event it is impossible to build a colony of any size without a Von
Neumann machine, and really any pre singularity talk of space colonies
is complete rubbish. Steven Hawking should have realized this himself.

The argument about the Singularity is that once you have AI at a human
level, developments that might take 1,000 years can be done in a short
space of time. Hence the phrase "Accelerating Future" which is often
used. BTW - A v Neumann machine does not imply intelligence or
singularity. A VN machine represents a space singularity in that human
influence on space and the mass of artifacts will similarly be growing
exponentially.

As I say all this is blatantly obvious. It is difficult to put a
reasoned argument up against any of those points. The only argument
that can be put up is personal abuse and general psi ops.

Logic quite simply is not on your side. I think you know this - hence
plan B.
