Oh, you must be referring to the Irish.

Sorry, they didn't get here until the 1840s.  They had zero influence
on the Declaration or the Constitution, documents which continue to
not support multi-culturalism.  The Constitution defends individual
rights, not cultural rights, despite attempts by many to rewrite it to
do so.

The topic you raised was immigrants - not founding fathers.

No.  The topic I raised was whether or not the Constitution protected
"multiculturalism."  It does not, for the reasons I stated.

You're wrong. And the Constitution, especially the Amendments backs me
up.

If the US were not multiculturaly tolerant as you claim, then what was
the one culture that we were? Spell it out in detail! I bet you can't!

We are a culture of the Enlightenment, forged in the religious wars of
Europe.  The Constitution allows for freedom of belief and freedom of
expression.  It does not allow for beheading infidels, or "honor
killings."

You mean then through that free expression we reflect diverse
cultures

Yes, but not all cultures. We do not reflect the culture of people
who riot in the streets, and threaten beheadings, over the publication
of cartoons.
