Killfile the idiots and be done with them.

There are a number of points. The first of these is that the
sentiments I have expressed are felt by a large cross section of
Americans. Indeed the US has indeed enacted some pretty draconian
laws. Party Poker saw its shares slump. Leglislation is NOT a solution
for one very simple reason. It has to be everywhere in the world.
Child pornography + of course the security of the Web itself are the
other things everyone is agreed about.

The only way to defeat "Party Poker" is with AI. Technology should be
used to make Party Poler impossible. The tone of the reference I gave
was one of cheating - Hell, the activity is antisocial to begin with.
Cheating is the social thing to do. We should all be bending our minds
on how to beat the system and produce an undetectable bot. If students
can win $1million, bully for them!

Postings are seen by everyone, not just the initiator and I think we
are discussing a problem which is important socially and interesting
from a mathematical view point.

Anyway if the Taliban (this is in fact the Arabic for students!) can
do with "Party Poker" what some American "Taliban" did in Las Vegas
with roulette it would be a GOOD thing.

Another aside sci.physics.research is discussing the determinism of
dynamical systems. Interesting that a roulette wheel is deterministic
and not governed by chaos and that simple velocity calculations will
predict the resting place of a ball.

As you can see, Damon, Ian has an attention deficit disorder.
