In your article you lump all conspiracies into the same category. Are
you saying that all conspiracies are crackpot theories? Is there a
single conspiracy theory that you actually believe?

The mathematics of conspiracy theories are no longer a mystery.
It's now rather straight forward to abstractly explain just what
makes such natural wonders....tick.

A conspiracy theory is just another example of a thing that takes
on a life of it's own. Like a riot, a vortex, a good rumor, or even
life itself, these are all examples of self organizing systems.

They all start in the same abstract way. Which comes first, static attractor
system behavior, or chaotic attractor behavior, is I think a chicken and
egg thing. Self organization begins when the two types of natural behavior
are intractably entangled, so that one can't tell which type of behavior
dominates the whole. Such as a cloud, neither condensation or evaporation
is winning, and while that is true the dynamic attractor emerges along with
new emergent things like lightning, rain or hurricanes.

Static attractor behavior is merely when the system is simple, deterministic
or changes little. More abstractly this is behavior which tends to settle
down to simplicity. Such as a ball spinning inside a bowl, eventually it
always comes to rest in the same spot. This is abstractly called subcritical
behavior such as gravity or condensation. Another way to visualize this
primary behavior of the natural world is to simply call static attractor
behavior....classical motion.

The other opposite extreme is possible behavior from subcritical or classical
motion is, of course, supercritical behavior. Or chaotic gas like behavior so
complicated, random and interactive that statistical means are needed.
No exact answers as with the Newtonian world of classical motion.
But quantum like behavior is a good representation of this other primary
source of our reality and existence. Call it static vs, chaotic attractors.
Or subcritical vs supercritical, or in the most abstract classical vs quantum.
It's all the same. Particle-like behavior vs wave-like behavior.

Newton vs Heisenberg if you like.

Self organization occurs when the two, are one. Intractably entangled
so that one can't tell which-is-which. That is the ultimate source of
spontaneous order, of things that take on a life of it's own. And
when those two opposite extremes are at an unstable equilibrium
with each other, the third dynamic attractor emerges.

As with a cloud, or a fluid. Neither solid or gas but both at once.
Neither particle or wave, but both at once. Neither a dictatorship
or anarchy, but the proper balance between the static attractor
of the rule of law, and the supercritical behavior of freedom.
When both and neither rule, the whole becomes greater then
it's sum. Spontaneous order, and things begin evolving.

So, for a complex dynamic system called a conspiracy theory
it becomes a simple rote task to define which aspects of such
systems fills the static and chaotic attractor.

On the static side, the facts. Is the proof of our landings on the Moon
simple, deterministic and few in number? Why yes, only a few people
went there, and the factual evidence is rather sparse in the sense that
rocks and photo's are about it.

On the chaotic side, which for the human mind is our imagination, does
the prospect of debunking the moon landings have gigantic implications?

Why yes, it one were able to debunk just a /few/ things, photos, moon rocks
and the testimony of a handful of people, then that could have /spectacular/
effects on our society. The two opposite extremes are present, and once
connected persistently to each other, should find a life of it's own.

If there were thousands of people that went to moon and dozens of
independent lines of factual proof, it would be a complex system
not simple. Simple vs chaotic are required. When those two are
at simultaneous maximums, which is true with the moon shot.
Just a few lines of evidence to debunk, combined with earth-shaking
consequences, you have what you need.

So, to be as abstract as possible, as simple as possible, as any good
and true mathematics should aspire to. A conspiracy theory, the
physical universe or life itself emerges when

Subcritical vs supercritical, or classical vs quantum, or
Newton vs Heisenberg yields the dynamic attractor also
known as a self organizing system or simply ....Darwin.

Static > Dynamic < Chaotic

Solid > Liquid < Gas
Matter > Light < Energy
Gravity > Inertia < Cosmic Expansion

Rule of law > Democracy < Freedom
Genetics > Evolution < Natural Selection
Classical motion > Thermodynamics < Quantum Motion

Science > Philosophy < Religion
Body > Mind < Spirit

Newton > Darwin < Heisenberg

This is the proper Grand Unified Theory which combines not only
classical and quantum mathematics, but the living world as well.
All with a single abstract mathematics applicable to any real world
system, physical, living or spiritual.....at all.

Any of them at all! I'm not making this stuff up, you merely need
to open your mind enough to start over from scratch, scientifically
speaking, from a new holistic or systems frame of reference.
Where subjective methods rule, where no accuracy or repeatability
is possible. Where no equations are even needed.

I think it's not a stretch to say that in the end, once these concepts become
commonly used, it'll be prose and poetry that define the most efficient,
powerful and concise mathematics possible.

After all, I just reduced the Grand Unified Theory into three words.
Even a simple photon, or a cloud, is sufficient to summon the concept.
Maybe even a simple hand gesture is sufficient to express the
ultimate mathematics of the universe. Maybe holding your hands
far apart, then bringing them together with a firm grip...someday
will be all the mathematics one needs to fully express truth, reality
and our place in it.

Why not? I mean even Dear Emily knew all this stuff 150 years ago.

"Growth of Man -- like Growth of Nature --
Gravitates within --
Atmosphere, and Sun endorse it --
Bit it stir -- alone --

Each -- its difficult Ideal
Must achieve -- Itself --
Through the solitary prowess
Of a Silent Life --

Effort -- is the sole condition --
Patience of Itself --
Patience of opposing forces --
And intact Belief --

Looking on -- is the Department
Of its Audience --
But Transaction -- is assisted
By no Countenance --"
