they won't, for the simple reason there is virtually no truth or logic in
the film to begin with.

But watching the movie will get you two things, each vital:

1) street cred. People will take what you say a lot more seriously if you
demonstrate that you actually have seen teh film.

2) the transcript doesn't match the cinematic experience. Moore is making a
*film*, not a book this time. A large part of understanding why people fall
fopr his *** is when you are sitting there and he's talking about how Bush
didn't show up for a National Guard physical...adn then Moore shuts up and
plays a five-second excerpt from Clapton's "Cocaine", at which point the
theater cracks up.

Unless you have experienced firsthand the shitty little gimmicks Moore uses
like that one...you don't know what the movie is about or exactly how people
relate to it.

you'd be surprised. Maybe not right away, but I've been in similar usenet
fistfights where I had people ganging up on me, calling me a liar and a
moron, etc. etc. Six months later, they agree with me. You *can* change
people's minds.
