I think you keep asking for the impossible. If the _design_ is screwed,
the only way to catch it is to have a review saying "is this part
intended to be placed this way up ?". Not as simple as looking at a part
and knowing it's the wrong way up, though not being able to tell speaks
a lot for the design in the first place.
But didn't they test it to see if it worked??
