So if a person's labor is only commercially valued at (or below)
the 'minimum wage', what's the solution -- take some of my money
and give it to them?

My point was that, while blocking increases in the federal minimum wage, the same legislative body voted themselves a number of raises that amounted to more than double the annual wage of minimum wage workers, and of course the raises were on top of the hefty salaries they were already making. ...
