How do you know that? I don't think even Mike Griffin knows yet what the
"accelerated" CEV will look like or what it will do, so you certainly
don't.

NASA's budget contains $160 million to support an RFP in FY06. Of course,
you'd know that if you were paying attention.

Not without extensive mods.

Not as much as CEV. NASA has *already* appropriated as much money for CEV
as they did for X-38/CRV throughout its entire lifetime.

Incorrect.

The difference this time is that the shuttle has a retirement date. That
raises the urgency a great deal. NASA knows that it cannot afford to screw
up CEV.
