So, I suppose the Shuttle is just too expensive and is eating too much
cash. I do however hope that lots of things have been learned by the
Shuttle's use. A one vehicle fits all approach is not the way forward ought
to be one of them.
With regard to the so called simple vehicle to replace its crew carrying
role, would anyone think that part of this could be reusable, or is this a
false economy where spacecraft are concerned. Certainly, anything where the
routine maintenance costs more than throwing it away and making another is
not the way forward, no matter how 'green' it may appear.
Have they actually decided what crew carrying capacity to go for?
