And we know that the real name of the international space agency will be
Starfleet. It will eventually become part of a greater organisation
called the Federation. And this won't happen for at least another 150 years.

And you'll notice that they killed the Star Trek franchise just when
they were about to document how the Federation gets formed. The current
government clearly has no intentions of being part of some international
agency where it doesn't have 100% control and they probably arranged for
the Star Trek franchise to be killed to prevent that from happening.

One producer tried to rescue Enterprise, and being Cuban born, he
probably resisted the "suggestions" to cannabalise the franchise and
tried his best to counter the damage done by the previous producer who
was intent on killing it to please the current government.


And yes, I see black shuttlecraft hovering above me. There are here even
before I post this. :-) :-) :-) :-)
And tin foil hats don't protect against phasers and transporters.
