Irrelevant. Soyuz has suffered numerous problems since the Soyuz 11
accident. That they've had no fatalities since then can be just as
easily attributed to luck as to design. The same can be said for
several nonfatal Shuttle malfunctions (the STS-37 botched landing, the
STS-93 engine glitches, the STS-44 and STS-83 shortened missions) that
spanned a greater number of flights (87) than Soyuz has flown since
its last fatality (83).
