Why don't you list all of the regular laws of physics that simply do

The Moon is the best place for Man's first substantial Outer Space base
because it is solid, has gravity, possesses raw materials in abundance,
and is a short distance from Earth, astronomically speaking. It's
orbit is stable and men can protect themselves from radiation by
burrowing into the side of a rill. Not to mention an abundance of
water (ice) in and around it's poles.

In short, the Moon has hydrogen, oxygen, water, titanium, aluminum, and
sunlight for solar panels, in abundance, as well as just plain soil
that can be used to stop radiation.

What else could you want? The Sun, the Moon, and the Stars? Well,
theyr'e next!
