just what would occur id during LOS the station wenr and remained
silent?

its a legit concern if say debris impacted during LOS you could have a
lost crew from depress and not know what occured or why:(

This reminds me of an Apollo simulation training case an old flight
controller told me about. The sim team started the leak just before the LOS
of the going behind the moon. The flight controllers missed the leak and
all went to the bathroom etc. They got the signal back and the crew is all
in their suits and zero psi asking what they should do next. They ended up
using the LEM as a life boat and came home. Again this was all in the
simulators.

I understand the crew died a lot in simulations during Apollo. In shuttle
today the instructors are basically not allowed to push the limits to the
point failure happens sometimes. The training team in Apollo really pushed
the limits of what the team (crew, flight controllers, and oncall engineers)
could do. It paid off with Apollo 13. Apollo 10 trained almost the exact
same case. In the Apollo 10 sim all hydrogen was lost at almost the exact
point Apollo 13 lost all oxygen in the service module. The crew died in the
simulation. They didn't get the LEM powered up in time. The LEM flight
controllers came up with better ways to power the LEM up. These procedures
were used in Apollo 13. Many think without the Apollo 10 simulation to
highlight the need, the Apollo 13 crew would have died before the LEM was
powered up to provide life support. That is why we train so hard.
