mention it, I do still talk to several NASA employees and there is some
indication she was not all well for a couple of weeks. Even with this
inside knowledge, it is not unreasonable to speculate in a internet
newsgroup that perhaps someone that wigged out so badly might have shown
some simptoms for a while before the meltdown.

All of which is merely trying to shift her responsibility for her
behavior to others.

Key here is NASA needs a process to prevent people
from wigging out while in space.

Yet, Nowak was on *Earth*. So, you wish to use her issue to make up a as
yet non existant " problem ".

Aparently this process is not in place at NASA.

I think she should pay for her deed. I think she should be locked up
involentarily in a psych ward right now.

Please post your medical credentials by which you are able to diagnose a
person you have never met.... Uh huh, more excuse mongering for a *woman*.

If she was willing to do what she
did, I think she would be willing to risk getting caught by leaving her
house right now. She is not rational

The law requires
lockup if suicide is a possibility. As it is now she is at home and not
locked up. It is my opinion NASA is giving her special treatement by not
asking a local judge to have her locked up for if nothing else her own
protection.

Then, you know nothing of the law. NASA has no say in this whatsoever,
any more than your employer would have any say over where you would be
held, had you broken a serious law and been caught at it.

Its the *Court* that has say over that. See " Bail or remand ".

But, thank you for proving that your medical and legal credentials all
came from cereal boxes...
