Indeed. Mr. L wants to believe that it is NASA's job to take on basic
personal responsibilities that each person has on their own. Based on
nothing. Thats why his claims are bunk.

Isn't it likely that the examination would be focused on work related
capabilities and that it would have been quite easy for Nowak or any other
person to fully conceil any personal issues and pressure buildups that
would have led head to plan/perform her escapade to Orlando ?

More to the point, all this ASSumes that human foibles are detectable 100%
of the time. This is simply not true, as any visit to a working courtroom
will easily show.

And no, NASA doesnt have to be better than any other employer, *in
this area*.

Now, far off in time, there are some issues of long term stability
and compatibility that will apply to those flying a deep space manned
mission, where the flight time will be measured in years.

But, as NASA has no real prospect of doing this within, say, a decade,
its rather putting carts miles ahead of one horse to demand such.

And, Nowak deserves equal treatment from the courts, not " better "
treatment.
