Status of the strike ?

What is the latest with regards to the USA strike ? Was it just a vote to authorize a strike after the first launch opportunity for Atlantis ? Or has a decision to strike on that day been made ?

Also, if the weather is not cooperative or there is some glitch that causes a scrub, does this mean that no other launch attemps can be made ? Or would the union also push back its strike until the day after the shuttle is launched ?

Will/would the strike affect only certain employees not directly related to the launch of a shuttle ?

Are there enough non-union employees of NASA and USA to still be able to launch despite a strike ? Would there be any fears of the crews being too small to assure safety ?

Are there fears that the unionised workers may not perform 100% between now and a strike, causing NASA to be weary of security issues affecting safety of shuttle ? (eg: workers being less than 100% diligent, letting minor defects go unnoticed or worse, actual sabotage) ???
