Looks like an iPod Photo (forth generation) with a Belkin battery pack
slapped on the back (holds 4 AA batteries).

Yea, well I saw three iPods last night at my son's Boy Scout troop meeting,
and two of them were iPod Video's (fifth generation)!

Seriously, Keith Cowing seems to become obsessed with trivial things like
iPod and Flat Gorby sightings. Nothing new there.
