CNET had some pictures of that CEV thing (computers simulations). The
comments from the public were quite negative about returning to 1960s
stuff and the CEV/Orion being very unimpressive.
Here, there are almost no discussions left on the shuttle. No
worries/discussions about sabotage of a computer for ISS, no discussions
about problems with current shuttle launch next week, and I think this
trend has been growing for some time now. In the past, there were still
good dicsussions despite the NASA-KNOW-IT-ALL's insistance on discrediting
the posters that are not part of their "approved poster" list.
Try looking at www.nasaspaceflight.com. There is a lot more discussion
going on there. It is moderated so you will not be attacked for not being
on the "approved poster list".

up some network prime time to advertise the presence of NASA TV and
the work being done, and the ISS etc... I think the public awareness
of NASA would skyrocket and people would write a lot more to their
reps in DC. I think this would have a tremendous positive impact on
NASA. All we get now is this media crap about drinking and Lisa
Nowack. The PAO needs to do its job Public AWARENESS Office.
