The PAO does nothing to advertise the space program. If they would buy
up some network prime time to advertise the presence of NASA TV and
the work being done, and the ISS etc... I think the public awareness
of NASA would skyrocket and people would write a lot more to their
reps in DC. I think this would have a tremendous positive impact on
NASA. All we get now is this media crap about drinking and Lisa
Nowack. The PAO needs to do its job Public AWARENESS Office.
Teddy Roosevelt's mother said "Fill what is empty, empty what is full, and
scratch where it itches"
I don't think this would work. If people did turn in to NASA TV, they'd
quickly find that it's about as boring as watching CSPAN. Leave it to NASA
to put people on NASA TV that only know how to talk in monotone.
