So far, the arrays were delivered as a package that consisted primarily of a portion of the struss with all the hardware/motors and structures to deploy the blankets.
What if they were to send only the actual blanket ? Would that make it light enough to be fitted in one of the remaining shuttle flights ? Or would that still be way too heavy ?
When folded, isn't the array blanket small enough that its volume would not be an issue on one of the remaining shuttle flights ?
