Politics on the ISS

I don't know about all you people but the article I'm posting here is very
troubling to me.
Anybody ever see 2010 The Year we Make Contact?

This is a very disturbing reminder of how politics, religion and plain old
idiocy can doom a project designed for the benefit of mankind and whittle it
down to "I am in my countries module and you are not welcomed here"
Lets hope that cooler heads prevail and that it doesn't com down to
fisticuffs.
Still cant believe that they actually have contingency plans for an orbital
melee.
