OT: Status of Shuttle sensor repairs ?

Sorry to barge in with a topic that doesnt fit the current discussions,
but the question begs to be asked.
What is the status of the shuttle sensor repairs ? I know there is a
tentative launch planned for feb 7th. But I have not heard whether they
had conclusively fixed the connector problem and how. Or is this an
on-going issue that has not been resolved yet ?
If not fixed at this point in time, will they "duct tape" a solution for
this launch, or is it their intention to fix a real fix and not launch
until a real fix is found which can be applied to all other remaining
tanks ?
