Ok then. I thought that the Shuttle had some the strongest engines (but
I guess the vehicle itself ate all that power leaving a 15tonne payload).
Ok, so if 120 tonnes is possible and has been done, then I guess it is
quite a realistic payload to expect.
There were saturn upgrade plans for larger loads, using strap on
solids, and even plans to raise the VAB roof and go much more height.
Heard once 300 tons are one goal:)
The scrapping of saturn is a national crime.
Von Braun had plans to make some stages recoverable too/
