And why not - Mojave is such a garden spot afterall :) I'm just glad
they opened the parking lot early, I suspect it made things go much
more smoothly. It also made it possible to be at the fence (even with
the CAP guys doggedly trying to maintain that 3 foot clearance :) at
the south end of the viewing area - I wonder if they have a zoomed
image of the crowd :)
I was surprised that as many people left immediately after touchdown
as did - having waited as long as most had, had they waited 20 minutes
more they'd have gotten to see "the sign" being held-up.
