Oops... The Arcam EBM S12 fabrication speed
is only about 17 cubic millimeters per second,
but its scanning speed is 1 km/s. A much more
powerful electron gun would not cost much, but
it would greatly improve the fabrication speed.
The Optomec LENS-850 fabrication speed is about
2 cubic millimeters per second. This system uses
expensive 1000W Nd:YAG laser. A more powerful
laser would be very expensive.
