Location is most often 'mean' (could be median).
Dispersion is most often 'variance' or standard deviation
(could be range or interquartile range, etc.).
These terms are commonplace, to describe and
discuss distributions. Location, spread, then "shape."
These might correspond to the first three central moments,
in which case the third one might be "skewness."
