Hello,
Can someone please tell me what the appropriate df's are for the
F-statistic for a partial correlation coefficient? I'm having trouble
finding this info.
Thank you,
Marina
df = (1,n-2) for an ordinary correlation,
(1,n-3) if one variable has been partialled out,
(1,n-4} if two variables have been partialled out, etc;
in general, df = (1,n-2-k),
where k = the # of variables that have been partialled out.
.
