Hello- I have a question regarding the use and interpretation of R
squared in business settings. I am interested in knowing if there are
guidelines for R squared that businesses might use when interpreting
it's size.
Probably. Read about particular applications.
That is, do businesses typically only act on R sqaured's
of .75 or higher, or maybe .90 or higher?
No.
Do any sort of standards
exist or is it all subjective?
Read about particular applications.
Sometimes .01 (or less) could be important;
sometimes .99 could be an artifact and show it
is the wrong analysis.
