Re: Combining Likert Scale Responses

thank you very much for your responses. I looked at average scores
today, as Rich suggested. i used the mean() function in SPSS and once
i knew what to do (i hadn't known how to do even that, since I'm new
to SPSS), it was easy as anything. Then I just ran Pearson's and am
all set...of course, new discoveries lead to new questions, so we'll
see how far this takes me.
