Of course not. It's a parlour game, nothing more.

That it has proved so lucrative shows how desperate believers are for
the slightest sign that their faith is justified (rather undermining the
whole point of faith, I'd have thought). We see the same thing when
people flock to visit weeping statues, or slices of fruit whose seeds
are arranged in a pattern bearing a remote resemblance to Mother
Theresa...
